Anisoceras

There are plenty of ammonite that coil in a spiral and then go straight out and hook back, but Anisoceras is unique in the fact that it starts off growing in a helix and the goes out along a plane and doubles back. Furthermore, it also was covered in long spines! It lived in the Cretaceous.
