Metoicoceras

Metoicoceras was a slightly narrow ammonite. Its whorls barely overlapped. Its umbilicus was small and sometimes surrounded by tubercles. This ammonite either had weak ribs and no tubercles or strong ribs with tubercles. Its venter was flat or grooved and bordered by tubercles. It had a simple suture.
