Schloenbachia
Suture: Ammonitic
Schloenbachia is identified by its branching radial ribs and simple ammonitic suture lines. It had a prominent keel. Some ammonites in this genus were broad and covered in tubercles, while others were flat and narrow. Schloenbachia was probably a good swimmer. It lived in Late Cretaceous Europe and Greenland and is one of the most common ammonites by far.
