Phylloceras

Phylloceras belonged to the more advanced ammonites, characterized by their advanced suture patterns. Phylloceras hails from the Early Jurassic to the Late Cretaceous, an abundant genus found worldwide. It had a slightly curved aperture and no radial ribs.
