Anarcestes
Suture: Goniatitic
Anarcestes was a primitive ammonite that had evolved the typical coiling pattern. It had a simplistic suture that was fairly goniatitc. Its shell did not normally have radial ribs. It lived in the Lower and Middle Devonian.
